The Software Engineer will focus on ensuring a safe and user-friendly experience by developing and maintaining APIs to assess risks within the PayPay app. This includes creating APIs that block transactions based on request content and aggregated transaction results. The role involves coding in Scala, CQL, and Python. The engineer will be responsible for the entire process from negotiating with other teams and determining specifications to development, testing, monitoring, and operation.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing and operating APIs to assess risks within the PayPay app (using SaaS services).
  • Creating APIs to block transactions based on request content and aggregated transaction results.
  • Coding in Scala, CQL, and Python.
  • Handling the entire process from specification to development, testing, monitoring, and operation.

Requirements:

  • Experience in promoting business process improvement/efficiency projects (PM/PL/PMO).
  • Experience in custom application development (2+ years).
  • Business-level Japanese language skills.
  • Effective communication skills with diverse stakeholders both internally and externally.
