Smartly is seeking a (Senior) Fullstack Engineer to join their Hydra team in Helsinki, focusing on Google Ads campaign management functionalities. The engineer will contribute to building end-to-end automation solutions, enhancing existing automation pipelines, and shaping the impact of AI on ad tech.

The role involves designing and developing client-facing APIs and automation services using Node.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, Redis, Kubernetes, and React, with seamless integrations into the Smartly infrastructure.

Responsibilities include:

  • Integrating customer assets and performance data into the Smartly platform.
  • Collaborating with Google engineers to meet high standards in quality and user experience.
  • Building data-intensive automation solutions to optimize performance on a high scale.
  • Partnering with designers to develop high-quality user interfaces and frontend tooling.

Requirements:

  • Strong TypeScript skills
  • Proficiency in Node.js and React
  • Experience in backend infrastructure, large-scale data processing, and event-driven systems
  • Solid understanding of distributed systems and asynchronous architectures
  • Ability to work from the Helsinki office three times per week
