Operations Associate

Job Description

Legend Biotech is seeking an Operations Associate to join their Technical Operations team in Raritan, NJ. This role involves performing manufacturing procedures and executing scheduled tasks within a cGMP environment, ensuring quality and compliance with company policies and regulations. The Operations Associate will be part of the manufacturing operations team responsible for producing autologous CAR-T products for clinical and commercial use.

• Executing manufacturing processes according to standard operating procedures.
• Performing cell culturing, purification, aseptic processing, and cryopreservation.
• Recording production data and information according to Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
• Participating in the development of manufacturing processes and documentation.
• Driving continuous improvement of manufacturing operations.
• Handling human-derived materials in containment areas.
• Supporting schedule adjustments to meet production needs.

Requirements:

• HS Diploma with 3-5 years of Biotech/Pharmaceutical experience, OR Associates Degree in Life Sciences or Manufacturing with 2-3 years of experience, OR Bachelors Degree in Life Sciences with 0-2 years of experience.
• Ability to interpret instructions and solve practical problems.
• Knowledge and ability to operate manufacturing, manufacturing-support, and lab equipment.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
