Senior Fullstack Engineer (Google)

Job Description

Smartly is seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer to join their Hydra team, which supports Google Ads. The team focuses on campaign management functionalities, enabling users to scale, automate, and optimize their advertising operations. The engineer will contribute to building end-to-end automation solutions and enhancing existing automation pipelines, helping advertisers launch and iterate Google Ads campaigns. The role involves designing and developing how AI impacts ad tech, shaping the future of automated advertising.

Role Involves:

• Integrating customer assets and performance data into the platform.
• Collaborating with Google engineers to ensure product quality and user experience.
• Building data-intensive automation solutions to optimize performance at scale.
• Partnering with designers to architect and develop high-quality user interfaces and frontend tooling.

Requirements:

• Strong TypeScript skills.
• Proficiency in Node.js and React.
• Experience in backend infrastructure, large-scale data processing, and event-driven systems.
• Understanding of distributed systems and asynchronous architectures.
• Ability to work from the Helsinki office three times per week.
