Senior Fullstack Engineer (Tiktok) at Smartly

Smartly is seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer to join their Chronos team in Helsinki, focusing on the TikTok product. This role involves building and enhancing Smartly's TikTok advertising solutions, enabling advertisers to create and optimize ad campaigns efficiently. The engineer will work closely with advanced advertisers and in-house campaign managers, ensuring a quick feedback loop.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing micro-frontends with React and TypeScript.
• Building backend services using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Working with PostgreSQL, Redis, and RabbitMQ in a Kubernetes environment.
• Ensuring scalability and maintaining a consistent user experience across platforms.
• Building APIs and helping other engineering teams integrate features into TikTok.

The ideal candidate should have:

• Experience in backend development with NodeJS, Typescript, PostgreSQL, and Kubernetes.
• Experience in UI development (React & Typescript).
• Experience building robust, complex, and distributed web applications.
• Motivation for solving customer problems.
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to coach other engineers.
• Ability to work in a hybrid capacity from the Helsinki office 3 days a week.
