Interactive Brokers is seeking a Trade Desk Representative with German language skills for their Dublin office. This is a hybrid role, requiring the employee to work both remotely and on-site. The Trade Desk Representative will be responsible for investigating and resolving client inquiries related to margin analysis, position liquidations, and trade cancellations. They will also familiarize and educate clients on Interactive Brokers' proprietary platforms and assist the Quality Assurance Department with complaint resolution. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial markets and excellent communication skills.

Role Involves:
  • Investigation of client inquiries.
  • Resolving routine and complex client inquiries via telephone, tickets, and chats.
  • Familiarizing clients with proprietary platforms.
  • Assisting the Quality Assurance Department with complaint resolution.
  • Coordinating activities with other Client Service divisions and external departments.
  • Analysing existing systems and procedures to recommend and assist in implementing enhancements .
Requirements:
  • University degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum two years of financial industry experience.
  • In-depth understanding of financial markets.
  • Excellent product knowledge: Equities, Options, Futures, etc.
  • Strong PC technologies proficiency: Advanced Excel, Office Suite, Email.
  • Trouble-shooter with a critical thinking mindset.
  • Self-starter, able to handle stress, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Fluent in English and German.
  • FINRA SIE and Series 7 or interest in obtaining the certification.
