The role involves:

  • Identifying and evaluating companies based on investment criteria.
  • Prospecting and contacting companies through various channels.
  • Establishing relationships with software business owners.
  • Collaborating with the Banyan team to drive business outcomes.
  • Utilizing software tools to increase efficiency.
  • Tracking activity and maintaining records in Salesforce.

Requirements:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in M&A deal sourcing or origination.
  • Experience in business development or software sales, preferably in the education sector.
  • Knowledge of SaaS software and business.
  • Proficiency in a metrics-driven environment.
  • Exceptional writing and communication skills.
