Director, M&A at Banyan Software

Banyan Software is seeking a Director of M&A to lead multiple acquisitions per year from the early stages of evaluation through post-closing integration. The Director will meet with business owners to evaluate alignment with Banyan's acquisition criteria and determine prospective company valuations. This role involves close collaboration with the origination, operations, and finance teams. Banyan Software provides a permanent home for enterprise software companies and focuses on acquiring, building, and growing businesses in niche vertical markets.Responsibilities include:

• Meeting with software owners.
• Leading acquisition processes.
• Analyzing financial data and preparing valuation models.
• Leading diligence efforts.
• Managing internal and external resources.
• Managing post-acquisition integration.
• Nurturing business broker and banker relationships.
• Building an M&A team.

Qualifications include:

• 5-10 years in corporate development.
• Experience with technology companies.
• Operating experience as a leader within a growing software company.
• Experience with recurring revenue business models.
• CA/CPA and/or MBA is an asset.
• Ability to evaluate risks and opportunities.
• Ability to negotiate and execute acquisitions.
• Financial literacy.
