Banyan Software is seeking an M&A Associate to join its dynamic team in Toronto. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute significantly to the company's acquisition and growth strategies. The ideal candidate will be involved in all stages of the M&A process, from sourcing and evaluating potential acquisitions to conducting due diligence and assisting with post-acquisition integration.Responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with the M&A and executive teams to source and evaluate acquisitions.
- Leading conversations with owners, advisors, and bankers professionally and with integrity.
- Preparing and analyzing financial and non-financial information, valuation, and operational models.
- Driving the entire M&A process, including detailed diligence.
- Drafting investment memorandums and crafting integration strategies.
- Managing diligence processes and engaging with internal/external teams.
- Assisting in the finance, operations, and integration of newly acquired businesses.
Qualifications for success include:
- A strong academic record with a degree in Business or Finance.
- Minimum 4 years of M&A experience.
- Expertise in building financial models.
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
