Snyk, a leader in developer security, is seeking a Director, Product to join their team in Lisbon, Portugal. This role involves leading complex work across an entire product or multiple product areas. The Director, Product will refine and own part of the product strategy, build business cases, and work cross-functionally with engineering, design, product marketing, and sales teams.Snyk recently acquired Probely, a modern Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST) provider based in Portugal.
Responsibilities: - Collaborating with leaders to define the long-term vision/roadmap.
- Driving activities to deliver on Snyk’s vision and drive alignment on product strategy and timing.
- Presenting the roadmap to strategic prospects & customers.
- Collecting & leveraging customer feedback, user research and data to determine new areas of expansion.
- Building a deep understanding of the underlying technology and customer pain points.
- Acting as a thought leader by driving knowledge sharing and the adoption of industry best practices around Snyk technology.
- Mentoring and growing other PMs and leading in contributing to ways of working better as a Product Management team.
- Driving knowledge sharing and the adoption of industry best practices around technology and market.
- Driving decision-making across the group and with various strategic stakeholders.
- Leading opinionated technical discussions with Engineering teams to evaluate different options to evolve the product.
Requirements: - Over 8 years of Product Management experience, ideally with some experience in the DevOps, B2B or SaaS space.
- Deep knowledge of the competitive landscape, industry trends, or other relevant areas such as pricing strategy.
- Deep knowledge of product management methodologies and processes.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, able to present at an expert level.
- The ability to have a positive impact on multiple areas outside of your remit.
- Ability to analyze market trends to inform product strategy and ensure competitive advantage.
