Snyk is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join its Policies Team in Tel Aviv. The engineer will contribute to a developer security platform, helping development teams find and fix security vulnerabilities. Snyk values One Team, Care Deeply, Customer Centric, and Forward Thinking.
As part of the AppSecEx Division, the engineer will collaborate to build a scalable product used by Snyk's product offerings and enterprise customers. They will utilize their skills to create software ensuring the security of other software products.
Responsibilities
- Developing and maintaining features in Node.js, Typescript, and Golang.
- Collaborating on architectural decisions.
- Promoting code quality through paired programming and reviews.
- Resolving issues to ensure product stability.
- Mentoring junior engineers.
- Proposing solutions for short-term and long-term technical benefits.
- Staying current with engineering trends.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software engineering experience.
- Experience running software on Kubernetes.
- Experience with workflow systems, event-driven architecture, and CI/CD.
- Proactive attitude and accountability.
- Eagerness to learn new technologies.
