Awin is seeking a Junior Full Stack Engineer to join their Publisher Tribe in the Growth Domain. The ideal candidate will be part of a cross-functional team, contributing to the development and maintenance of Awin's Affiliate Marketing platform. This role involves advocating for clean, secure, and well-tested code, adhering to best practices, and improving code reusability.

The Junior Full Stack Engineer will collaborate with the product manager and team members to translate user needs into technical solutions. They will be involved in the entire service lifecycle, from requirements gathering to development, deployment, support, and maintenance, proactively highlighting potential risks and contributing to solutions as the business evolves.

Role involves:

  • Extending and maintaining the Affiliate Marketing platform.
  • Writing clean, secure, and well-tested code.
  • Collaborating with team members to translate user needs into technical solutions.
  • Participating in knowledge-sharing activities and learning from experienced colleagues.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience in commercial software engineering roles.
  • Strong understanding of OOP principles and software development best practices.
  • Proficiency in Java (v17+) and Spring Boot.
  • Hands-on experience with front-end development, preferably using Angular or similar frameworks.
  • Knowledge of relational database design, strong SQL skills, and familiarity with non-relational databases like DynamoDB.
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs and Microservices architecture.
