Job Description
Appian is seeking an Associate Application Engineer to join their Business Technology Apps team in McLean, Virginia. This role focuses on building and deploying AI-backed applications to automate the business and advance the company's enterprise AI strategy. Appian emphasizes in-person collaboration 5 days a week at the office.
The role involves:
- Leveraging AI-driven automation to enhance business processes and decision-making.
- Developing Appian applications that incorporate GenAI and ML models, intelligent automation, and predictive analytics to optimize workflows.
- Collaborating with Appian insiders to sculpt the future of business processes.
- Ensuring all solutions are well-documented, scalable, and reusable across the enterprise.
- Fostering a team environment focused on cutting-edge technologies, process automation, and delivering measurable business impact.
Requirements:
- B.S./B.A. in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- Experience with GenAI and/or ML technologies (academic or professional).
- Experience with cloud computing technologies like AWS.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a passion for AI-driven innovation.
- Professional English proficiency
- Exceptional communication and customer management skills (verbal/written)
