Job Description
Appian is seeking an HRIS Integration Specialist (Workday Integration Specialist) to join their Business Technology team. The specialist will be responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of Workday features and tooling, maintaining data accuracy, and supporting wider Appian projects.
Responsibilities:
- Managing existing Workday inbound and outbound integrations and building new integrations.
- Ensuring accuracy and integrity of data.
- Working with the Workday architect, product management, and stakeholders to design and implement robust integrations.
- Following data governance and ensuring data quality.
- Following defined integration/development standards and best practices.
- Ensuring security and data privacy standards.
Requirements:
- Deep knowledge of Workday’s integration features, including Workday Integration Cloud.
- Proficiency in coding and configuring integrations using Workday’s APIs and development tools.
- Understanding of Workday modules such as Core HCM, Payroll, Talent Management, Compensation, Benefits, Absence Management, and Time Tracking.
- Understanding of basic database architecture.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with Web Services and APIs (WSDL, SOAP, REST and WS standards).
- Knowledge of Workday implementation tools (Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Workday Studio, Workday Report Writer).
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in interface architecture.
