Job Description
Appian is seeking a Senior Compensation Partner to manage both day-to-day operations and long-term strategic plans for compensation across the organization. Reporting to the Director of Total Rewards, this role is crucial in creating, implementing, and maintaining Appian’s job architecture and compensation structures. The successful candidate will significantly impact the company by collaborating with various departments and senior leadership, bringing innovative ideas for quick implementation.This role involves:
- Acting as a strategic partner to HRBPs, business leaders, and Talent Acquisition.
- Assisting in the design and management of Appian’s job architecture, compensation structures, and equity programs.
- Driving and managing annual salary and review processes, partnering closely with senior leaders.
- Coordinating data submission for compensation surveys.
Requirements for this role:
- 4+ years of experience in Compensation or a related field, preferably with a global organization.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
- Strong knowledge of compensation concepts and practices, including benchmarking and job pricing.
- In-depth understanding of regulatory environments, including legal statutes and FLSA determinations, and the ability to maintain compliance of Appian’s compensation programs.
- Experience coordinating data submission for compensation surveys; Radford global salary surveys preferred.
- Advanced Excel knowledge and skills.
- Knowledge of Workday HRIS highly preferred.
