Job Description
Appian is seeking a Technical Delivery Manager to ensure customer success and drive growth through technology engagements. The Technical Delivery Manager will manage and deliver innovative solutions on the Appian platform, overseeing agile delivery, risk management, and impediment removal. This role involves teaming with sales, building customer relationships, and managing financial aspects of projects. The role is based in McLean, VA, with an expectation of being in the office 5 days a week to foster Appian's collaborative culture.
The role involves:
- Managing and delivering solutions built on Appian platform.
- Overseeing all aspects of agile delivery.
- Risk management and impediment removal.
- Teaming with sales to drive growth.
- Building customer and partner relationships.
- Financial management and opportunity qualification.
Requirements:
- Experience managing a book of business.
- Experience leading agile delivery teams.
- Experience understanding customer strategic goals.
- Ability to develop and maintain strategic relationships.
- Proven background in support of DoD.
- 5+ years of experience in an agile delivery environment.
- B.S./B.A. in related field.
- Willingness to travel (10% or less annually).
