Appian is seeking a Senior Solutions Consultant - Insurance to join their team in Chicago, Illinois. The Solutions Consulting team is undergoing an exciting transformation, redefining the role of a trusted advisor. This individual will work alongside creative people, using cutting-edge technology, to elevate their career.

As a Senior Solutions Consultant at Appian, they will drive the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, acting as the key technical advisor and product advocate. They will use their technical skills and business understanding to demonstrate the value of Appian’s Insurance solutions and platform to both technical and business users.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to all functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs
• Convey customer requirements to Product Management teams
• Represent Appian's Insurance solutions at field events

The ideal candidate will have:

• Technical depth
• Recent experience in a modern programming language (e.g., Java, C#, Python)
• Experience in enterprise software sales (BPM, Low Code Platforms preferred)
• Strategic problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills
• Experience with customer interaction, requirements analysis and presentations
• In-depth understanding of Appian Insurance Solutions
• 7+ years as Pre-Sales Engineer OR 7+ years in a client facing Professional Services/Consulting role that involves sales scenarios
