Appian is seeking an Associate Solution Engineer to join their CIO team. This role is based in Seville, Spain. Appian values Respect, Work to Impact, Ambition, and Constructive Dissent & Resolution. The Associate Solution Engineer will be a resident expert on the inner workings of the Appian platform, gaining full-stack experience.

The company encourages employees to be in the office as much as possible and maintain a flexible hybrid approach and want to see everyone in the office around 3 times a week.

Role involves:

  • Troubleshoot incidents with customers over a virtual meeting (screen-share)
  • Meet with internal teams to investigate issues and brainstorm troubleshooting solutions
  • Collaborate with Appian source-code developers to resolve platform issues
  • Submit feature enhancements on behalf of Appian customers
  • Configure supported custom configurations in Appian Cloud
  • Write Root Cause analysis reports for high priority incidents that have been resolved

Requirements:

  • Technical, curious and autonomous individual
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to convey technical insights/findings/solutions to audiences from different technical backgrounds
  • Interest in data analytics
  • Interest or experience in devOps/programming/scripting (e.g. Java, Perl, Ruby, C#, PHP)
  • Interest in or experience with RDBMS platforms (e.g. MySql, Oracle, SQL Server)
  • Interest in or experience with systems administration (e.g. Linux, Windows)
  • Bachelor's degree in any IT focused degree where you have learnt technical and coding focused skills.
  • Fluent Spanish and English
