Financial Control Associate at Interactive Brokers

Interactive Brokers is seeking a Financial Control Associate to join their team in Greenwich, CT. The company is a global financial services firm known for its cutting-edge technology and commitment to clients. This role is hybrid, requiring 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.

The Financial Control Associate will be responsible for monitoring the Group's settlement ledgers, testing back-office systems, and resolving settlement differences. They will also interface with various internal departments, counterparties, and clearing organizations.

Responsibilities:

• Daily reconciliation of proprietary and client settlements.
• Investigation of reconciling items.
• Weekly and monthly reporting of outstanding differences.
• Dividend reconciliation.
• Support various audit requests.
• Operate the Group's proprietary Trade Settlement Reconciliation system.
• Evaluate systems and processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, mathematics, or business (minimum GPA: 3.0).
• 0-2 years of experience in the financial services industry is preferred.
• High comfort and fluency with computers and technology.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (MS Access and VBA experience is a plus).
