Product Engineering Manager

Job Description

Stensul is seeking a Product Engineering Manager to lead and grow high-performance engineering teams and collaborate to develop a collaborative content creation platform. The Product Engineering Manager will play a critical role in expanding the team's capacity and capabilities, coaching engineers, and ensuring the timely delivery of impactful solutions.

The Product Engineering Manager will be an active member of the Engineering Managers team, contributing to the culture, structure, and processes, as well as fostering an agile engineering culture focused on quality and continuous improvement. Responsibilities:

• Expand product engineering teams and capabilities.
• Coach engineers and peers, ensuring motivation and engagement.
• Lead discussions and agreements, aligning with business strategy.
• Guide teams to build impactful solutions addressing customer needs.
• Ensure timely delivery of solutions and artifacts.
• Ensure processes are followed.
• Participate in the Engineering Managers team, fostering culture and synchronization.
• Create an environment of psychological safety, respect, and trust.
• Develop an agile culture centered on quality.
• Partner with Product Managers, Designers, and other functions for alignment.
• Provide transparency on the team's initiatives.
• Take a hands-on approach as needed.

Requirements:

• Resident in Argentina and able to be in Buenos Aires monthly.
• 5+ years leading engineering teams.
• 7+ years of experience shipping high-quality software.
• Customer-oriented mindset.
• Advanced oral and written English skills.
• Strong relationship-building skills.
• Knowledge of software design concepts and architecture.
• Embodies leadership and talent multiplier qualities.
