Too Good To Go is seeking a Sales Specialist to join their team in St. Gallen, Switzerland. The company's mission is to inspire and empower people to save food from waste, connecting businesses with users to rescue surplus food. The Sales Specialist will be responsible for attracting new partners to the Too Good To Go concept and expanding the app's reach.
The Sales Specialist role involves:
- Acquiring new potential partners for the app, focusing on independent or small chains of restaurants, cafes, bakeries, and food retailers within the designated area (80% telesales, 20% active acquisition).
- Introducing new partners to the Too Good To Go concept and app usage, advising them on the best solutions for surplus food.
- Providing initial support to new partners, ensuring successful food waste reduction.
- Managing activities in Salesforce CRM, maintaining pipeline hygiene, and tracking goals.
- Collaborating with the sales team and other departments to identify potential businesses and increase brand awareness in Switzerland.
- Responsibility for the development of their area.
Requirements:
- Previous sales experience with cold calling
- Excellent telephone skills and ability to engage in face-to-face interactions
- Authentic, open, and approachable demeanor with a confident and proactive attitude.
- Ability to manage multiple contacts and handle rejections
- Diligence, ambition, and commitment
- High degree of independence, structure, and affinity for numbers, with meticulous tracking.
- Experience in pipeline management (Salesforce) is a plus.
- Drive to exceed monthly sales targets.
- Willingness to travel for sales-related activities.
- Commitment to the company's philosophy and a desire for meaningful work.
- Excellent German and French (C1) and good English (B2) skills; Italian is a plus.
