Too Good To Go is seeking a motivated Sales Specialist to join their team in Basel, Switzerland. The company's mission is to inspire and empower people to save food from waste. The Sales Specialist will play a crucial role in expanding the network of partner businesses using the Too Good To Go app.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Acquiring new potential partners for the app, focusing on independent restaurants, cafes, bakeries, and food retailers within the designated area.
  • Conducting 80% of sales via telesales and 20% through active acquisition in the field (2-3 days per month).
  • Introducing new partners to the Too Good To Go concept and providing guidance on using the app effectively.
  • Providing initial support to newly acquired partners to ensure successful food waste reduction.
  • Maintaining detailed records of activities in the Salesforce CRM system, emphasizing pipeline management.
  • Collaborating with the sales team and other departments to identify potential businesses and increase brand awareness in Switzerland.
  • Taking responsibility for the further development of their designated area.

Requirements:

  • Previous sales experience in cold calling.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a confident and proactive approach.
  • Ability to manage multiple contacts simultaneously and handle rejections effectively.
  • Strong self-motivation, organizational skills, and affinity for numbers, with meticulous tracking of work.
  • Experience in pipeline management (with Salesforce) is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel within the sales area.
  • Commitment to the company's mission and values.
  • Fluency in German and French (C1 level) and good English skills (B2 level).
