Senior Cloud Engineer

Job Description

SurveyMonkey is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to join its Cloud Engineering team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the ongoing operations of SurveyMonkey's AWS environments, ensuring security and reliability while adhering to industry standards. This is hybrid role so you are required to work from the SurveyMonkey office in Bengaluru 3 days per week.

What this role involves:

• Maintaining and operating AWS environments.
• Collaborating with software development teams.
• Coordinating security, availability, and reliability requirements.
• Automating deployment and configuration of cloud infrastructure.
• Fostering a culture of diversity and inclusion.
• Participating in on-call rotation.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience with AWS (IAM, VPC, EC2, ALB, S3, Control Tower, AWS Identity Center, ACM, AWS lambda, CloudWatch, CloudFront, and CloudFormation).
• 4+ years of experience building and evolving well-architected environments in AWS.
• Proficiency in AWS networking (Transit Gateway, VPC, CloudFront, Route 53, Cloud Map, Shield, WAF, Firewall Manager, VPN).
• Experience with Configuration Management tooling such as Terraform.
• Linux and/or Windows administration via automated scripting.
• Experience with Python.
