Senior Analyst, Global Payroll at SurveyMonkey

SurveyMonkey is seeking a proactive leader to join their Finance team as a Senior Analyst, Global Payroll. This role reports to the Global Payroll Manager and is responsible for international payroll operations. The Senior Analyst will manage end-to-end payroll cycles for multiple countries, ensuring adherence to local tax and labor regulations.

The ideal candidate will lead process improvements, guide the implementation of regional solutions, and work with internal partners such as HR, Benefits, and Finance. They will develop scalable processes, maintain standard operating procedures, and ensure payroll-related SOX controls are executed timely and effectively.

What this role involves:

• Managing the end-to-end payroll cycle for multiple countries.
• Compiling monthly payroll data and ensuring timely payment of payroll taxes.
• Leading process improvements and guiding the implementation of regional solutions.
• Developing scalable processes and maintaining standard operating procedures.
• Performing manual check functions and supporting external audits.
• Ensuring payroll-related SOX controls are executed effectively.

Requirements:

• 4-6 years of experience processing EMEA and APAC payroll.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; CPA and or payroll certification preferred.
• Experience managing outsourced global payroll processing teams.
• Strong understanding of global payroll taxation laws and regulations.
• Good understanding of U.S. GAAP and SOX compliance requirements.
• Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with leaders and employees at all levels.
