Job Description
SurveyMonkey is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Product Analytics Manager to join their team in Bengaluru. This role involves managing a team of data analysts who support various product areas with analyses and highlight key trends and opportunities. The ideal candidate will work closely with Product, Engineering, and Data teams to drive process standardization, optimization, and automation, ultimately enabling the delivery of world-class customer experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a small team of analysts across all product areas.
- Analyze user behavior and product usage patterns using Amplitude.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor key product performance indicators.
- Work with Data Engineering and Business Intelligence teams to ensure accurate data collection.
- Design and execute A/B tests and experiments with Product teams.
- Curate a data-driven team and support product team on identifying trends and ad hoc analyses.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement process improvements.
- Train and onboard team members on new processes and procedures.
- Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of process improvements.
- Communicate analysis results to both business and technical audiences.
- Surface and rectify data inconsistencies.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in data analysis/reporting/analytics or related fields in tech.
- 5+ years of experience managing a team.
- Experience working with Product, Engineering, and Data Engineering teams.
- Experience with Product Analytics tools like Amplitude or Mixpanel.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to see the big picture.
- High degree of comfort using SQL.
- Familiarity with subscription products and self-service funnels.
- A curious data-driven mindset and eagerness to get things done.
- Proficient in accessing cloud data warehouses
