Interactive Brokers is seeking an AML Analyst to join their Quality Assurance Testing and Monitoring team in Budapest. This role is within the broader AML team and reports to the Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO). The analyst will be responsible for independent testing activities to assess AML controls, producing reports, and validating remediation actions.Interactive Brokers has been at the forefront of financial innovation for over four decades, known for cutting-edge technology and client commitment.Responsibilities:
  • Implement and execute compliance testing program for AML controls.
  • Participate in assurance reviews and regulatory issue validation.
  • Perform risk-based testing on AML controls.
  • Produce Assurance metrics and findings.
  • Develop corrective action and management information reports.
  • Conduct timely follow-ups on pending issues.
  • Assist with developing and enhancing the Assurance Testing Methodologies.
  • Utilize innovative compliance testing solutions, including Data Analytics.
  • Coordinate QA/Testing reviews.
  • Update and monitor issues identified for remediation.
  • Use Oracle SQL to retrieve, filter, analyze, format, and present information from Oracle databases.
Requirements:
  • At least 2+ years’ experience in AML compliance.
  • A bachelor’s degree in law, business, finance, or accounting.
  • Certified anti-money laundering specialist (CAMS) or similar ICA diploma is preferred.
  • Knowledge of European and UK regulations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Strong attention to detail.
