Job Description
Reddit is seeking a Senior Android Engineer to join their Ad Formats team. This role is focused on building new ad formats and features within the Reddit Android application. The engineer will collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to innovate and implement sophisticated solutions. Reddit is open to candidates who want to work remotely in Canada.Responsibilities include:- Building Ad experiences and creating patterns for Reddit’s Android app
- Collaborating across product, design, and engineering teams
- Engaging in the full development cycle: design, develop, QA, experiment, analyze, and deploy
- Expertise in Android engineering with at least 4 years of experience
- Proficient in the Kotlin programming language
- Strong software engineering fundamentals
- A willingness to tackle the challenges of creating data-intensive, highly responsive, and fault-tolerant apps
- An openness to explore innovative approaches to software development
- Skilled at performing insightful code reviews, and receiving feedback themself
