Job Description
Reddit is seeking a Senior Staff Machine Learning Engineer to join its Ads Marketplace Quality team. This role involves developing and executing a vision to improve Reddit's Ads Marketplace, focusing on optimizing ads auction and pricing mechanisms. The engineer will work on strategic initiatives such as supply optimization and ad relevance, contributing to Reddit's goal of delivering the right ads to the right users at the right time.Responsibilities include:
  • Leading strategy development and execution for ads marketplace initiatives.
  • Developing algorithms to improve the efficiency of ads marketplace, auction, and pricing.
  • Overseeing end-to-end ML workflows, from data ingestion to model deployment.
  • Mentoring junior and senior engineers.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of industry-level product development experience.
  • 5+ years focused on data-driven, marketplace-optimization problem space at scale.
  • Strong knowledge of ads marketplace optimization.
  • Experience architecting ads marketplace design and optimizing ads auction and pricing mechanisms.
  • Understanding of large-scale data processing and distributed computing.
  • Proficiency in machine learning frameworks and programming languages.
  • Technical leadership and communication skills.
