Reddit is seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer to join its Ads Formats team. This role focuses on enhancing existing ad formats, improving user experiences, and aligning with advertiser marketing goals. The Senior Staff Engineer will play a crucial role in expanding ad inventory, enabling ads on new placements, and optimizing the ad user experience. Reddit values collaboration and innovation, seeking a candidate who can work across teams to create scalable solutions.Responsibilities:- Identify opportunities to enhance value for advertisers.
- Enhance infrastructure to accelerate format enhancements.
- Lead projects from concept to rollout.
- Bring in ideas from across the industry to enhance the Ad product portfolio.
- Collaborate with designers and product managers to build new Ad functionality.
- Mentor staff engineers and leaders.
- 10+ years of Technical Leadership experience.
- 2+ years as Senior Staff or above.
- 5+ years in the Ads Domain.
- Experience shipping consumer-facing software (Ad Formats, Ad Reporting, Ad Manager, Ad Insights).
- Understanding of privacy landscape (GDPR, CCPA, etc.).
- Adept communicator with experience updating executives.
