Reddit is seeking a Senior Frontend Software Engineer to join its Experimentation Platform Team. This role is crucial for accelerating innovation and growth within Reddit by building and enhancing the platform that empowers developers to conduct more effective experiments. The engineer will bridge the gap between user-facing features and underlying infrastructure, driving the mission to enable actionable and trustworthy A/B testing at scale. This position offers the flexibility to work remotely within the United States, or Ontario and British Columbia, Canada.
The role involves:
Designing, developing, scaling, and supporting Reddit’s Experimentation Platform.
Designing and implementing a UX that helps product teams conduct better experiments and make decisions faster.
Developing and operating high-scale data products with a focus on live site reliability.
Increasing developer efficiency through automation and system optimization.
Collaborating cross-functionally to find technical solutions to complex design challenges.
Participating in the full development cycle, from design to deployment.
Requirements:
5+ years of professional software development experience.
Proficiency in front-end technologies, including TypeScript/JavaScript and component frameworks (React, Angular, Lit).
Experience with Postgres/SQL database systems, ideally applied in a large-scale data analysis product (Google BigQuery preferred).
Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Experience in developing end-to-end web applications.
