Reddit is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to join the Reddit Pro team. This individual will play a key role in empowering brands, organizations, and professionals to create engaging content and grow their presence on Reddit. The Senior Frontend Engineer will be involved in technical and product strategy, contributing to the development of new products in this space.
Responsibilities:
Work cross-functionally with product, design, and engineering teams.
Contribute to the full development cycle, including design, development, testing, and launch.
Review code and design documents, providing feedback on specifications and mocks.
Participate in a team of motivated engineers, contributing to standards and mentoring junior team members.
Balance speed and quality in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
6+ years of software development experience with front-end programming languages like Javascript, Typescript, or ES6.
Experience with front-end web frameworks such as LIT, Polymer, React, Vue, or Angular with CSS.
Experience with GraphQL, REST, HTTP, Thrift, and API design.
Experience with distributed caching and large-scale data storage systems.
Strong organizational and prioritization skills with ability to deliver results on a schedule.
BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to thrive in ambiguous environments.
Excellent communication skills for collaborating in a remote environment.
