Associate General Counsel – eDiscovery at Interactive Brokers

Interactive Brokers is seeking an experienced Associate General Counsel – eDiscovery to lead and manage the firm’s eDiscovery program. This is a hybrid role based in Greenwich, CT, requiring 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.The Associate General Counsel will coordinate all aspects of eDiscovery work, manage outside counsel and vendors, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. They will also stay current on eDiscovery technology advancements, implement new technologies, and partner with internal teams to develop cost-effective solutions.Responsibilities:

• Coordinate all aspects of eDiscovery work
• Manage Outside Counsel and eDiscovery vendors
• Coordinate with internal counsel to manage data collections
• Develop and oversee eDiscovery budgets
• Stay current on eDiscovery technology advancements
• Act as a liaison with Compliance, IT, Records & Information Management, and Information Security
• Partner with international legal teams to ensure adherence to global eDiscovery obligations
• Lead initiatives to procure, implement, and maintain enterprise archiving solutions
• Educate internal teams on eDiscovery best practices, legal obligations, and information governance requirements.

Requirements:

• Strong legal background in litigation and investigations
• Experience managing eDiscovery vendors and outside counsel
• Ability to partner with cross-functional teams
• Self-motivated and able to handle tasks with minimal supervision.
• Superb analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent collaboration and communication (Verbal and written) skills
• Outstanding organizational and time management skills
