Job Description
Interactive Brokers is seeking an experienced Associate General Counsel – eDiscovery to lead and manage the firm’s eDiscovery program. This is a hybrid role based in Greenwich, CT, requiring 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.The Associate General Counsel will coordinate all aspects of eDiscovery work, manage outside counsel and vendors, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. They will also stay current on eDiscovery technology advancements, implement new technologies, and partner with internal teams to develop cost-effective solutions.Responsibilities:- Coordinate all aspects of eDiscovery work
- Manage Outside Counsel and eDiscovery vendors
- Coordinate with internal counsel to manage data collections
- Develop and oversee eDiscovery budgets
- Stay current on eDiscovery technology advancements
- Act as a liaison with Compliance, IT, Records & Information Management, and Information Security
- Partner with international legal teams to ensure adherence to global eDiscovery obligations
- Lead initiatives to procure, implement, and maintain enterprise archiving solutions
- Educate internal teams on eDiscovery best practices, legal obligations, and information governance requirements.
- Strong legal background in litigation and investigations
- Experience managing eDiscovery vendors and outside counsel
- Ability to partner with cross-functional teams
- Self-motivated and able to handle tasks with minimal supervision.
- Superb analytical and problem-solving skills.
