Reddit is seeking a Staff Frontend Engineer (Tech Lead) to join their Reddit Pro team. The Reddit Pro team empowers brands, organizations, and professionals to create engaging content and grow their presence on Reddit. The ideal candidate will lead the front-end team to move quickly while ensuring product quality. • Work cross-functionally with product, design, and engineering teams.
• Contribute to the full development cycle, including design, development, testing, and launch.
• Review code and design documents, and provide feedback on product specifications.
• Contribute to team strategy and planning.
• Mentor junior engineers and improve developer workflows.

Requirements:

• Minimum 8+ years of full-time software development experience in front-end technologies.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and ES6.
• Experience with front-end web frameworks like LIT, Polymer, React, Vue, or Angular.
• Familiarity with GraphQL, REST, HTTP, Thrift basics, and API design.
• Experience with distributed caching and large-scale data storage systems.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• BS degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
