Autonomous Racing Engineer — Internship at Constructor TECH

Constructor TECH, a platform for education and research focusing on machine intelligence and data science, is seeking an Autonomous Racing Engineer Intern. The intern will contribute to the development of autonomous vehicle software for a top-performing team in the A2RL Autonomous Racing Championship. This internship offers hands-on experience alongside industry experts in high-performance autonomous racing.

The intern will work on perception, planning, control algorithms or system and software engineering for autonomous vehicles.

Role Involves:

• Developing and integrating sensor fusion techniques.
• Designing path-planning algorithms for high-speed autonomous racing.
• Working on vehicle dynamics modelling and system identification.
• Developing real-time autonomous racing software in Python and C++.

Requirements:

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Robotics.
• Experience in Python & C++ (at least beginner level).
• Familiarity with ROS (Robot Operating System) and Ubuntu/Linux.
• Basic knowledge of Docker & containerization.
• Strong problem-solving skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
