Job Description
Reddit is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager to drive impactful sourcing initiatives. The role involves leading negotiations, RFPs, and guiding stakeholders in vendor partnerships, all while improving Reddit’s financial margin.Reddit's mission is to bring community and belonging to everyone in the world, and this role will have impact on decisions made at the highest level of the organization by ensuring Reddit is supported by best-in-class vendors. It will also help the organization stay financially responsible and ensure our employees and leaders have a seamless purchasing experience.What this role involves:
  • Sourcing for BPO, Benefits, HR, Sales, Marketing, and Legal.
  • Managing RFx processes, contract negotiation, category strategy, market intelligence, spend analysis, and supplier management.
  • Crafting negotiation strategies and driving agreement negotiations.
  • Building relationships with stakeholders to align with best-in-class strategies.
  • Delivering budgeted savings and year-over-year cost savings.
  • Planning, sourcing, and selecting new vendors.
  • Optimizing relationships with existing vendors.
  • Uncovering new opportunities and driving process improvement.
Requirements for this role:
  • 5+ years of strategic sourcing experience in Services Sourcing categories, preferably with some experience with SaaS contracts.
  • Exposure to high-growth technology or media companies.
  • Results-oriented and customer-focused mindset.
  • Proven ability to innovate and act quickly in fast-paced environments.
  • Experience with strategic execution and implementation of ideas.
  • Proficiency in a Procurement System such as Netsuite, Coupa, Zip or similar.
  • Experience pulling financial spend reports and creating commodity strategies.
