Job Description
Reddit is seeking a Content Strategist to join their curation team. This role, while based in London, will focus on content within India and neighboring countries. The Content Strategist will play a crucial role in improving Reddit’s content understanding and content experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with India Content Lead to implement content strategy.
- Drive Reddit’s understanding of different communities, content and audiences in India and APAC.
- Understand policy and labeling guidelines and execute accurate labels based on those guidelines.
- Content labeling (maintaining the accuracy and coverage of our community topics and ratings).
- QA of Machine Learning results and creation of data-sets for Machine Learning training.
- Identifying common patterns in datasets and document insights based on labeling observations.
Requirements:
- Native language proficiency and cultural knowledge of India.
- Experience with investigating, reviewing, or assessing digital content.
- Deep knowledge of and passion for Reddit, internet culture and online trends.
- Strong understanding of news, sports, cinema, business and cultural events.
Bonus Points:
- Language capabilities in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Marathi, Bengali, and Kannada
- Experience as a successful content creator/curator/social media manager for TikTok/YouTube/Instagram.
- Experience as a moderator on Reddit.
