Job Description
Reddit, a community-driven platform, is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead a team within the Technology vertical of their Large Customer Sales organization. This role is based in their New York City office. The Sales Manager will lead a team of Client Partners and Client Account Managers, helping agencies and advertisers achieve their marketing objectives on the Reddit platform.Reddit is looking for someone to:
  • Coach, develop, and lead a team of Client Partners and Client Account Managers.
  • Manage a high-performing team by recruiting and retaining top talent.
  • Provide thought leadership and guidance around account planning.
  • Represent the interests of enterprise technology clients internally.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advocate for client needs and identify creative solutions.
  • Partner with Business Development to elevate the Reddit/Client partnership.
  • Partner with Marketing to drive new product launches and advertiser acquisition.
  • Craft and execute a strategy to exceed revenue targets.
  • Advise sales leadership and product management on market opportunities.
Reddit requires:
  • 10-15+ years of experience in digital media sales and/or marketing.
  • 3+ years of people management experience within sales.
  • Expertise in digital media with an emphasis on paid social.
  • Experience navigating complex organizations and engaging with executive-level stakeholders.
  • Experience thinking and acting globally to unlock revenue.
  • Excellent communication skills and executive presence.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Strategic thinking skills.
  • Experience with both brand and direct-response marketing objectives.
  • Prior startup or high-growth experience preferred.
