Job Description
Reddit is seeking a Principal Product Designer to join their Ads UX team. This role is pivotal in shaping Reddit's monetization strategy by designing innovative and intuitive tools for advertisers and account managers. The Principal Product Designer will lead the design of Reddit’s Advertiser Platform, balancing the complexity of advertising needs with simplicity and usability. They will stay ahead of ad technologies and design trends, conceptualizing initiatives to differentiate Reddit from competitors. This role involves full lifecycle ownership, from ideation to delivery, ensuring high-quality execution that balances innovation with usability. The ideal candidate will deeply understand the diverse needs of advertisers and translate insights into impactful design solutions.Role involves:- Shaping the vision for Reddit’s Advertiser Platform.
- Driving innovation in ad technologies and design trends.
- Translating complex ideas into scalable design solutions.
- Taking ownership of the design lifecycle from ideation to delivery.
- Understanding the needs of advertisers and translating insights into design solutions.
- Collaborating with product managers, engineers, and UX researchers.
- Mentoring and cultivating a culture of learning within the design team.
- 10+ years of UX/UI design experience, with expertise in web and enterprise-level designs.
- Significant experience in ad-tech.
- A portfolio demonstrating expertise in tackling complex design challenges.
- Visionary thinking capable of driving strategic design decisions.
- Exceptional storytelling and persuasion abilities.
- A demonstrated commitment to mentorship and cultural development.
