Associate General Counsel – eDiscovery at Interactive Brokers

Interactive Brokers is seeking an experienced Associate General Counsel – eDiscovery to lead and manage the firm’s eDiscovery program. The ideal candidate will manage eDiscovery vendors and outside counsel, and partner with cross-functional teams.She will coordinate all aspects of eDiscovery work across in-house legal team for litigations and investigations. She will also stay up to date on advancements in eDiscovery technology, including AI-driven tools. She will act as a liaison with Compliance, IT, Records & Information Management, and Information Security, to advise on initiatives with eDiscovery implications. The candidate will monitor industry trends, legal developments, and regulatory changes to assess their impact on the firm’s eDiscovery program.What the roles involves:

• Coordinate all aspects of eDiscovery work
• Manage Outside Counsel and eDiscovery vendors
• Develop and oversee eDiscovery budgets
• Stay up to date on advancements in eDiscovery technology
• Act as a liaison with Compliance, IT, Records & Information Management, and Information Security
• Monitor industry trends, legal developments, and regulatory changes

Requirements:

• Self-motivated and able to handle tasks with minimal supervision
