Deliveroo is seeking a Sales Development Representative to join their growing team in Dubai, UAE. In this role, the individual will be responsible for building relationships with retail partners and bringing them onto the Deliveroo platform. They will help new partners to launch and succeed, developing a 'best in class' value proposition for Deliveroo's customers.Deliveroo offers a hybrid working model and this role reports to the SMB Team Lead- Restaurants.
Responsibilities: - Map, prospect, pitch and close new retail partners across the region.
- Communicate with retail partners to demonstrate Deliveroo's technology and value proposition.
- Oversee the partner onboarding process to ensure it is quick, efficient and seamless.
- Ensure partner success within the first eight weeks from signing.
- Attend meetups / events.
Requirements: - 2-3 years of sales experience.
- Experience in the restaurants sector is a plus.
- Demonstrable sales track record with experience prospecting, pitching and closing deals.
- Experienced negotiator.
- Commercially knowledgeable and understands the economics of delivery.
- Ability to demonstrate product and industry knowledge to clients.
- Take ownership and work within demanding targets.
- Interest in all things food and retail.
- Tenacity and motivation.
- Arabic or Hindi speaker
