Deliveroo is seeking a Business Development Associate to join its team in Paris. This role focuses on transforming how the world eats and shops by making access more convenient and enjoyable. The company connects consumers, restaurants, shops, and cyclists to provide people the ability to buy what they want, how they want, when they want, and where they want.

As a Business Development Associate, the individual will report to the Sales Manager and work within a small team. This person will be responsible for prospecting and developing business relationships with potential restaurant partners.

Role Involves:

  • Prospecting and developing commercial relationships with future restaurant partners.
  • Maintaining consistent daily prospecting activity through cold calling.
  • Presenting Deliveroo's services clearly and professionally, using the internal sales script.
  • Managing commercial negotiations and closing deals quickly.
  • Achieving monthly sales targets.
  • Ensuring partner satisfaction and performance on Deliveroo.
  • Reporting commercial activities to the manager weekly.
  • Maintaining an updated lead list/CRM.
  • Proposing new ideas and solutions.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of Bac+3, Bac+4 in commerce, marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in product or service sales.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively.
  • Knowledge of modern sales and marketing techniques.
  • Familiarity with the meal delivery market and its competition.
