Deliveroo is seeking a Senior Sales Manager to join their Grocery Team in Milan, Italy. This role focuses on onboarding relevant Grocery Retailers in the Italian market. The Senior Sales Manager will act as a consultant, using data-driven insights to drive partner growth and revenue.

The role is a crucial individual contributor, and involves no team management responsibilities.

What this role involves:

  • Pitching and closing grocery partnerships
  • Managing a pipeline of leads and ensuring high conversion rates
  • Leading the end-to-end sales cycle, including strategic negotiations
  • Ensuring a smooth integration process for new partners
  • Supporting the commercial team with strategic initiatives

Requirements:

  • 4-7 years of B2B sales experience in groceries/retail or FMCG
  • Passion for data and a data-driven mindset
  • Fluent Italian and English
  • Strong knowledge of the GDO industry
  • Proven sales record with an appetite for scaling your portfolio
  • Strong communication skills (face-to-face, phone, email)
  • Perseverance and grit, unafraid of rejection
  • Competitiveness and a team-player attitude
  • Curiosity and a desire for continuous learning
