FPGA Engineer

Job Description

AlphaGrep Securities Private Limited is seeking a skilled FPGA Engineer to contribute to their hardware platform for low latency trading. The candidate will be deeply involved in the design, implementation, testing, and delivery of FPGA-based trading systems. They will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with other engineering disciplines to develop and integrate cutting-edge solutions.

Role Involves:

• Designing, implementing, testing, integrating, and delivering low latency trading systems.
• Developing low latency designs in Verilog/System Verilog.
• Developing test harnesses to verify developed items.
• Integrating firmware on target hardware.
• Contributing to peer design reviews.
• Undertaking requirements capture.

Requirements:

• Degree in electronics/engineering or relevant experience.
• 3+ years of industry experience in hardware development.
• Excellent design standards and strong debug skills.
• Hands on Digital Design and FPGA Architecture experience.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience of developing self-checking testbenches, BFMs.
• Familiarity with digital communications protocols and general networking experience.
• Experience of developing on large Altera and Xilinx FPGAs.
• Experience in writing RTL in Verilog/System Verilog or VHDL.
• Working knowledge of Vivado and Questasim.
• Experience of working in a linux-based development environment
• Scripting; tcl/tk, python
