Interactive Brokers is seeking an Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) Analyst to join their team in Budapest, Hungary. The company, a global financial services firm, is recognized for its innovative technology and commitment to clients. The EDD Analyst will be responsible for conducting enhanced due diligence reviews on existing higher-risk client accounts.Responsibilities include:
- Conducting Enhanced Due Diligence reviews on existing IBKR customers.
- Evaluating information identified through public searches for negative news.
- Reviewing source of funds/wealth and evidencing beneficial ownership.
- Checking against customers and associated entities/persons in the Offshore Leaks Database.
- Evaluating and resolving negative news and/or red flags or potential PEP matches escalated by the New Account Team(s).
- Supporting the Head of EDD by responding to questions, issues, and escalations on all KYC/EDD program aspects.
- Ensuring adherence to the firm's KYC and EDD procedures.
- Liaising with the 1LOD on new initiatives, products, and services.
- Assisting the Head of EDD by collating information/documentation for external audits.
- Ensuring AML policies and procedures are up to date.
- Developing ongoing communication with individuals in other jurisdictions to leverage best practices.
- At least 2+ years' experience in AML compliance.
- A Bachelor's degree in law, business, finance, or accounting preferred, or Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) or similar ICA Diploma.
- Good knowledge of EU and UK regulations and European Directives in connection with KYC/EDD/CIP requirements.
- Good analytical skills and intermediate experience with MS Office.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work in a small team as well as independently.
