Senior Data Scientist at Mentimeter

Mentimeter is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to elevate their analytics capabilities and drive data-informed strategies. The Senior Data Scientist will be a key member of the Data & Analytics (DNA) department, contributing to customer retention, engagement and expansion.

The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and mentoring other colleagues in the team.

Role Involves:

• Designing and deploying machine learning models.
• Elevating data science craft within the Data & Analytics department.
• Aligning priorities and partnering with stakeholders.
• Collaborating with the Data Platform Team and other teams.
• Providing mentorship and technical guidance.
• Translating complex data analyses into narratives and visualizations.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience.
• Expertise in data science methodologies and machine learning techniques.
• Strong business acumen with a sales, marketing, and product analytics understanding.
• Expertise in ML modeling with a focus on production deployment and ML engineering best practices.
• Solid software engineering practices, including git, code reviews, and writing performant, maintainable code.
• Experience collaborating with data engineers on data pipelines, model deployment, and monitoring.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• A track record of mentoring team members
