Mentimeter is seeking a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to spearhead its engineering efforts and guide the company through a phase of growth. The CTO will report to the CEO and be part of the management team. Mentimeter aims to facilitate better listening, learning, and collaboration for over 1 billion people.
Responsibilities:
- Define and communicate the technical vision and strategy.
- Drive technical innovation by staying ahead of market trends and customer needs.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire the Engineering team.
- Oversee the technical strategy for product offering and customer journey.
- Ensure technology decisions support scalability, reliability, security, and innovation.
- Champion best practices in software engineering, agile methodologies, and AI implementation.
- Manage the engineering budget effectively.
Requirements:
- Proven experience leading an engineering organization (10+ years in leadership roles).
- Deep technical expertise and the ability to inspire and guide an organization.
- A track record of using technology to drive innovation and scale.
- Exceptional leadership skills.
- Strong expertise in aligning technology with business strategy.
- Demonstrated ability to attract, retain, and develop top talent.
