Sales Development Representative

Job Description

Mentimeter is seeking a Sales Development Representative to join their team in Sydney. Mentimeter's goal is to turn presentations into conversations. They achieve it through real-time interactivity and clear visualizations.

In this role, you will contribute to generating new business by qualifying opportunities and driving outbound and inbound campaigns. You will focus on developing qualified opportunities and passing them to Account Executives and Relationship Managers. The ideal candidate should have high energy, an entrepreneurial tempo, and a strong focus on business opportunities and sales.

Responsibilities:

• Prospect and utilise various channels to initiate contact with potential customers
• Work closely with Account Executives and Relationship Managers
• Convert prospects into opportunities, qualifying their needs and presenting our value proposition
• Present and hand-over qualified inbound and outbound opportunities to Account Executives and Relationship Managers
• Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system
• Work with organisations from all different industries within the APAC region
• Continuously improve the processes, analysis, and tactics used by Mentimeter Sales

Must haves:

• Ability and some experience assessing business opportunities using data for informative decision making
• An entrepreneurial mindset
• Ambitious and result-oriented
• Flexible mindset and open to new ways of working
• Professional-level English proficiency
• Permitted to work permanently with no restriction

It's a bonus if you have:

• 6 months experience working as a SDR.
• Experience as a Customer Support Representative
• Experience in selling SaaS solutions
• Bi-Lingual
• Bachelor or masters degree (field not important)
