Trading Operations Engineer at AlphaGrep Securities

AlphaGrep Securities is seeking a Trading Operations Engineer to support its Trade and risk systems. The candidate will work in Shanghai and be responsible for monitoring production trading for risk and compliance issues, responding to unusual market conditions, and working with senior traders to implement automated trading strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Monitoring production trading for risk and compliance issues.
• Responding to unusual behaviours or market conditions.
• Working as a team with senior traders to operate and implement automated trading strategies.
• Troubleshooting production issues, managing risk, and reconciling positions.
• Interacting with exchanges, brokers, and the production support team.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree from a top-tier college or university
• TOEFL or IELTS scores are highly preferred
• At least 2 years of experience in trading to trade support role
• Experience with SQL, Python, and Linux (Must)
• Working knowledge of risk control of equities, futures, options markets
• Solid experience with high-frequency automated trading strategies
• An understanding of exchange-specific rules and procedures
• Strong problem-solving, mathematical and quantitative reasoning skills
• Extremely organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English for business purposes
