Intercom is seeking a Senior Manager, Sales Engineering to lead the technical aspects of the sales process. The Senior Manager will manage all aspects of people management, act as a trusted advisor for key customers, and champion the use of Intercom’s AI technologies. The role involves working with sales representatives, meeting prospects, and delivering demonstrations.
Role Involves:
- Managing all aspects of people management, including hiring, development, and training
- Acting as a trusted advisor for key customers
- Championing the use of Intercom's AI technologies
- Working with sales reps, meeting with prospects, and delivering demonstrations
- Developing and communicating a clear strategic vision for the Sales Engineering team
Requirements:
- 8+ years of pre-sales experience as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or related role
- 2+ years of experience leading technical pre-sales teams (beneficial)
- High energy and ability to thrive under pressure
- Humble attitude and passion for helping others
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
