Intercom is seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Account Manager to join their EMEA sales team in Dublin, Ireland. This role is pivotal in driving the growth of Intercom's existing business. The Account Manager will be the main point of contact for a designated book of business, focusing on achieving net growth through identifying and pursuing expansion opportunities and effectively managing the renewal process. He/she will partner with a CSM and SE to ensure the long term success of your book.
Role Involves: - Owning and managing a portfolio of existing business accounts.
- Driving net growth within the assigned book of business.
- Identifying and pursuing expansion opportunities.
- Running a proactive and effective renewal process.
- Articulating Intercom's value using the Command of the Message framework.
- Forecasting and planning sales activities on a monthly and quarterly basis.
- Partnering with Customer Success Managers (CSMs) and Sales Engineers (SEs) to ensure long-term customer success.
- Collaborating with Research and Development (R&D) and Marketing to ensure customer feedback is heard.
Requirements: - 2-3 years of experience in a B2B closing role.
- 2+ years of SaaS experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to identify customer pain points and propose effective solutions.
- Ability to accurately qualify sales opportunities.
- Ability to conduct light product demonstrations or experience working with Sales Engineers/CSMs.
- Capable of building compelling presentations for customers.
- Experience forecasting on a monthly or quarterly basis.
