Intercom is seeking a Product Engineer to join their team in Dublin, Ireland. The Product Engineer will solve customer problems through technical knowledge, build both back-end and front-end systems, and collaborate with designers, product managers, researchers, and data analysts.
The Product Engineer will contribute to Intercom's technical architecture, write Ruby code, mentor other engineers, and interview candidates.
What the role involves:
- Developing technical plans.
- Contributing to our technical architecture.
- Writing Ruby code.
- Shipping changes to production.
- Mentoring other engineers.
- Interviewing candidates.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of industry experience in a software engineering role, preferably building a SaaS product.
- Deep knowledge of a high-level programming language.
- Experience collaborating directly with product teams and designers.
- Experience with Distributed systems.
